Each year Antai College receives and sends out over 150 undergraduate, graduate and MBA students for exchange. To create a more internationalized environment, the college has developed more than 80 English-taught courses and 100 bilingual courses at all levels. In addition to traditional one-term student exchanges, we also provide customized China-based study tours, summer programs, and overseas study tours for EMBA and executive education participants.
 
During the past few years, Antai College has witnessed an increase in faculty internationalization. The percentage of faculty members with overseas doctorate degrees has grown to 27%, faculty members with at least one-year’s worth of international experience reached 43%. Through the faculty development plan ---“Haitian”, about 10 faculty members each year take a sabbatical leave to top overseas business schools, like MIT, Columbia University, Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania, Georgia Institute of Technology, Washington University and Duke University. Moreover, the college also holds long-term faculty training agreements with international partners, like MIT Sloan School of Management, USC Marshall School of Business, UBC Sauder School of Business. All of these schools have faculty training plans with us.
 
As for the internationalization of programs, the college complies continuously with international practices pertaining to program portfolios and curriculum design and innovations. Antai has built up international cooperative networks at various levels. We have our own International MBA program, Singapore-based MBA program, China Leaders for Global Operations (CLGO) program, and executive education program in cooperation with MIT pertaining to the energy sector. We also provide joint programs like the DBA program with University of Manchester from UK, the IMBA program with the University of British Columbia, the EMBA program with Nanyang Technology University from Singapore, the AEMBA program with école de management de Marseille from France, and the GEMBA program with the University of South California, USA. The college was ranked 41st and 46th respectively in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2008 and Management Science Ranking 2010.
 
As for the internationalization of research, Antai College has made being “research-oriented and internationalized” its goal. In 2010, faculty members’ publications in SSCI/SCI journals have increased to over 50. Faculty members also participate actively in major international academic meetings and activities. The college is now a member of major international business school associations, like AACSB, EFMD, AMBA, AAPBS and GMAC. Moreover, we also maintain research cooperation with world-leading academic institutions and enterprises. We have developed the Sino-US Global Logistics Institute in cooperation with the Georgia Institute of Technology to increase international expertise on the logistics sector, and the Chinese Euro-Mediterranean Centre of Diversity(CEMCD) with école de Management de Marseille to focus on research of managerial practices in the regions of Mediterranean Europe and China Mainland.
 
As for international recognition, besides the international accreditations and rankings, Antai College also hosts the International Business School Shanghai Conference (IBSSC) every two years, which is growing to be the largest business school dean-level event in the Asia-Pacific region. The IBBSC has been held three times, with over 200 deans of domestic and overseas business schools participating. In addition, we have also hosted other international events like the “Econometric Society World Congress 2010”, and an annual “Noble Prize Laureate China Tour” since 2009. Through these conferences we seek to explore greater international opportunities.
 
To date, Antai College has reached international agreements with more than 70 well-known business schools in the world. Internationalization is our main strategy, leading the overall development of the college. We work constantly on improving our program portfolios, faculty and student qualifications, and international cooperative areas during our cooperation with our international partners.
