Infosession & Open Class, January 10th |
|
SJTU Antai
will hold its second info-session & open class
for the 2010-2011 academic year on Monday,
January 10th, from 6:30-8:30pm. The
event will begin with a presentation about
Antai's MBA programs given by MBA Office Intl.
Admissions staff and will be followed by a Q/A
session. At 7pm, the open class lecture will
begin, featuring Antai Finance Professor, Dr.
Chen Xin, who will be speaking on China's
capital markets, introducing views from both a
Chinese and a Western perspective. Dr. Chen
received a PhD in Corporate Finance from the
University of Minnesota. After the lecture, the
class be opened up for more Q/A, in which
attendees can talk with Antai Admissions staff
and students. This event is free and open to the
public.

International E-Commerce Conference |
|
From
Dec. 1-3, the 10th International Conference on
Electronic Business (ICEB) was held in Antai
College of Economics and Business, and was
attended by approximately 150 representatives of
corporations and academic institutions from 14
different regions or countries, including United
States, Australia, England, German, France,
Norway, Iran, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand,
Romania, Taiwan, Hong Kong, as well as China
Mainland. This conference was hosted by Antai
College, co-hosted by AMT Consulting Group and
Shanghai Electric Network Technology Co.,Ltd,
and also sponsored by National Science
Foundation of China.

>> Farewell Lunch
for Fall Exchange Students |
|
On Dec.
10th, the Antai MBA Office held a farewell
luncheon for these international exchange
students. Some international exchange student
life tutors and IMBA students were also invited
to participate in the farewell lunch buffet at
Kai Lun Hotel. During the lunch staff and
students gave speeches about their experience at
SJTU, and enjoyed a media presentation put
together by some of the students.

|
Four '09
IMBA students from Antai College of Economics
and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University
studied abroad at the University of Konstanz,
Germany during this fall semester. While taking
courses offered by the University of Konstanz,
four students of the Antai '09 IMBA class have
also improved relationships between not only
SJTU and the University of Konstanz, but have
also increased understanding of Chinese culture
in their community.

New Years Party |

Antai held
a new years party for the students of Antai on
Sunday, Dec. 26th from 6:30-10pm in the Antai
Auditorium. The event included 18 entertaining
shows and presentations, performed by the Antai
Chinese and International MBA classes, as well
as by the staff of the MBA office.
